With her outgoing spirit and personality, Zeporia was a ray of sunshine to everyone she touched with her presence. Zeporia began her educational journey within the Putnam County School System; there she met many of her peers and those she loved to be around. Zeporia later went on to earn her GED before securing employment in the healthcare field. She worked with Dr. Susan Jones, a position she very much enjoyed, and Zeporia's hard work and dedication eventually elevated her to the esteemed role of Office Manager. Zeporia's other accolades consisted of certifications in Phlebotomy as well as Medical Billing & Coding.
As Zeporia grew older, her passion for makeup and fashion grew stronger. Countless hours of teaching herself the trade soon paid off. Zeporia enjoyed using her unique talent to service and beautify her community; from proms to weddings and many other special occasions, Zeporia took joy in creating stunning custom looks for each of her clients. She had a thing for cosmetic tools and really enjoyed shopping for various types of brushes, sponges, and makeup kits.
Zeporia's love for makeup soon poured over into fashion and interior design. Decorating her home soon became one of her favorite pastimes; on her days off from working with Dr. Jones and doing makeup, Zeporia could usually be found making crafts for her home or shopping for the latest fashions. Most of all, she loved her family dearly. Zeporia spent much of her time with her children, building lasting memories with them. She devoted every bit of time she could to making a positive impact on their lives.
Zeporia is preceded in death by her father, Charlie Butts, and two grandfathers, Cleveland Butts and Jerry Porter, Sr.
To cherish her loving memory, Zeporia leaves her devoted mother Martha Pope; one daughter, Baleigh Farley; three sons, Amaris Porter, Jaidyn Porter, and Ayden Cole; two granddaughters, Armani Porter and Keilani Simmons; three sisters, Sable Porter, Christal Porter, and Terraisa Pittman (Bazile); two grandmothers, Euria Butts and Gertrude Porter; her significant other, Tremaine Farley; four special friends, Chiquita Binion, Keshia Evans, Tiffany Scott, and Trimika Foster; one daughter-in-law, Kendreaka Simmons, and a host of other relatives and friends.
