• Services to celebrate the life of Stanley Bailey will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Brown's Chapel AME Church.

Mr. Stanley O’Neal Bailey was born on November 10, 1961, in Putnam County to the late Mr. Clifford Bailey, Sr. and the late Mrs. Mary C. Bailey. He was a lifelong resident of Putnam County and graduated as a member of Putnam County High School Class of 1980.

As an adult, Stanley worked at Horton Homes and then Southeastern Buildings until his health began to fail. Stanley was a lover of old school music and he enjoyed watching westerns in his free time; he also enjoyed playing basketball with his cousin and friends in his earlier years. Stanley’s favorite team was the Atlanta Falcons, and it gave him great joy to watch them play.

 Stanley is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Robert Lee Bailey, Anthony Bailey, and Mike Bailey.   To cherish his memories Stanley leaves behind his longtime companion, Gladys Jackson; four brothers Eldred, Clifford Jr., Bruce, Richard, and Norman Bailey; one sister, Annie (Carlton) Slappy; two brothers-in-law, Grady Jackson, Jr., and Bobby Jackson; one sister-in-law, Laura Little (Jesse); one aunt, Euria Butts; nieces and nephews, cousins, and host of other family and friends.
